Campion – Lapine Botanica

This is the third of the 12 rabbit drawings produced as a part of the Lapine Botanica project, celebrating Watership Down by Richard Adams. The entire life-cycle of the campion plant is captured within the shape of the rabbit, from first emergence, through flowering to the beautiful pods filled with seeds. Several different campion species are represented including red campion, white campion, bladder campion, and sea campion. The Lapine Botanica project has been very popular, with a range of calendars, cards, stickers, and other items produced from it. This is your chance to own one of the original works.

The piece is available unframed and unmounted only – which is for the best as you can then decide how you would like the artwork to appear in your own space.
