I’m now offering 1–1 or small group art and nature journaling sessions in person or online.
These sessions are designed for complete beginners, artists looking to improve, professional artists wanting a fresh angle, and anyone in between. Each session is entirely guided by you and can include gentle instruction, discussion, idea-forming, exploring new mediums, or drawing specific subjects — whatever feels most helpful for where you’re at.
You can even add a deluxe art kit add on, in which I curate art materials for you to keep you nature journaling or sketching for longer after your session.

Your questions answered
Do I need to have any experience?
No, these sessions are designed for your unique experience level and will be tailored to your favoured focus/topic. Every process will be demonstrated first before you give it a try yourself, so you can see what to do in real time. Individual guidance will be provided when needed throughout.
What will I need?
Bring comfortable outdoor clothing suited to the weather forecast and suitable footwear for any outdoor sessions. Your own transport is required between locations. Indoor alternatives to booked outdoor sessions can be provided if the weather forecast is looking particularly poor, or we can defer. All art materials are provided or you can bring your own for help and guidance.
What is in the deluxe art materials add on?
Receive a wrap of art materials and sketchbook to keep after your session. Includes Derwent Inktense pencils x6, Derwent Procolour coloured pencils x6, mechanical pencil, water brush, Derwent Line Maker fineliner selection, pencil wrap, foldback clips, A5 seawhite sketchbook and a higher quality sketchbook of watercolour paper. Everything you need to continue nature journaling after your session (only for in-person sessions, no swaps of materials, subject to availability, two weeks notice before session required, non-refundable, only one pack provided per £100 purchase). Two weeks notice is needed before your session for me to gather the materials, and handover is at the session itself (no postage option).
